Is your teen quietly capable but struggling to cope with the demands of the classroom?

Are they bright, full of potential - but drained, stressed and switched off by school?

Your teen doesn’t need to be "fixed". They need to know how to work with their strengths - before stress turns into burnout and disengagement.

I help quiet, sensitive and/or neurodivergent teens achieve their potential by tailoring their studies around their strengths, energy, and future goals — so school doesn’t come at the cost of their wellbeing.

This coaching is right for you and your teen if:

- They are quiet, sensitive or neurodivergent and feel overlooked at school

- You want your teen to reach their full potential and are willing to invest in a solution before they begin to disengage or burn out.

Many of the teens I work with are attending school and meeting expectations on the surface but the cost is getting higher at home.

They come home from school tired, snappy, tearful and stressed with nothing left in the tank.

They blame themselves when they struggle but you know it's not lack of motivation.

Despite being bright and thoughtful, they can't see their own strengths and constant comparisons chip away at their confidence.

Homework feels endless and overwhelming. PowerPoints, past papers, knowledge organisers, revision acronyms ... they don't even know where to start.

School's answer is always "more, more, more" - extra interventions, after-school sessions, even holiday catch-ups. But none of it helps them feel more capable.

Most painful of all?

Your teen has stopped believing in what's possible for their future and you can sense them slowly switching off.

If this is familiar, it’s often an early sign that stress is becoming unsustainable — even if your teen is still “coping”.

This is when early intervention is key.

Most painful of all? They've stopped believing in what's possible for their future. Instead of being excited for what comes next, they are starting to switch off..

Just imagine if ...

Your teen had a clear goal for the future - one that excites them and makes study feel relevant again.

They knew their own strengths and how to use them, instead of constantly comparing themselves to others.

Revision felt manageable, because their study plan actually worked with their energy, not against it.

They were calmer, more motivated and more confident - not because you're pushing them, but because they felt excited for their future plan.

You could rest, knowing you'd intervened early - before burnout, disengagement or cruising narrowed their options.

Meet Charlotte

I’m Charlotte – ex-teacher, GCSE examiner, ILM Level 5 coach, home-educating parent of two teens, and someone who understands how exhausting the education system can be for quieter minds.

Years ago, I was the parent lying awake at night, knowing something wasn’t right for my quiet children and feeling torn between that instinct and the constant message to trust the system. School said they were coping. On the surface, they were. But at home, I saw the exhaustion, emotional fallout and quiet loss of confidence that comes from being expected to be louder, faster and constantly “on.” I could see the early signs of burnout long before anyone else was willing to name them.

Acting on that instinct showed me what quieter, more sensitive teens need to stay well in education and how early intervention can change the trajectory entirely.

I now help parents intervene early — before stress becomes burnout — so their teens can stay engaged with education without losing their wellbeing or sense of self.

Hello there!

I’m Charlotte – ex-teacher, GCSE examiner, ILM LEVEL 5 coach, home educating parent of two teens and a proud introvert myself.

Back in 2015, my family was struggling. I loved teaching, but the relentless focus on performance metrics didn’t sit right with me. Meanwhile, at just 7 and 5, my quiet, sensitive children were already anxious, exhausted, and starting to doubt themselves.

The advice I kept hearing? Push them out of their comfort zones. More clubs. More speaking up. More of what was draining them in the first place. My gut said otherwise.

So I made a bold choice: I stepped back. I took them out of the system and home educated through primary school - and later, through GCSEs and A-levels. And I saw something powerful: when my teens were free to learn in a way that fitted them, they didn’t just “cope.” They thrived.

That experience changed everything. It showed me that quiet teens don’t need to become louder to succeed. They need the freedom, the tools, and the confidence to shape education around their strengths, not bend themselves to fit the system.

Because here’s the truth: introverted teens don’t need fixing. They don’t need more pressure, more interventions, or more stress. They need someone to put them in the driving seat of their own future - to help them set a goal that matters to them, and then build a study plan that gets them there without burnout.

You know your teen.

I know the system.

Together, we can create a success path that works for them.

INTRODUCING: Quietly Brilliant Coaching For Teens (Burnout-Aware, Strengths-Led)

This 1:1 coaching programme is designed as early intervention — supporting teens (14+) through exams before stress turns into burnout or disengagement.

This programme is for teens who are still attending school, but showing early signs that the pressure is becoming unsustainable.

Together, we will:

Question Stereotypes

Reframe quietness as a strength so your teen sees deep thinking as a power, not a problem.

Unlock Potential

Help your teen recognise what they are good at (even if they can't see it yet) and build confidence from the inside out.

Identify Goals

Start with a goal that excites them - university, college, an apprenticeship, a career path or entrepreneurship - and then work backwards.

Eliminate Distractions

Simplify study schedules, resources and routines so exams become manageable instead of draining.

Tailor The Plan

Create a personal road map that fits your teen's strengths, energy and ambitions - not a one-size-fits-all revision timetable.

How it works:

Step 1: Setting a goal

We begin with an initial 1:1 60-minute coaching session. Your investment: £150.

Think of this session as a kind of audit.

Prior to this session, you and your teen will both be sent a detailed onboarding form, so that we can begin to create a full picture of current challenges, aspirations and goals.

During this session, we will:

- Discuss strengths, interests and potential future goals

-Decide on a short-term goal for the next 90-days

-Chunk down the steps to reach that goal

- Look at any potential barriers to reaching that goal and how we can overcome them

After this session, you will get:

- A full written summary of the session with a detailed plan of how we could work together moving forward.

Step 2: Creating a road map to success

If you choose to go ahead after the initial session, the next step is to purchase a block of 6 x 1-hour coaching sessions to be used over 90 days. Your investment: £900

Your teen will get:

- 6 x 1:1 coaching sessions

- A DISC personality report as a starting point for discussions about strengths

- Access to an online area for their coaching notes so that they can track progress and weekly actions

- Visual resources to support their coaching journey

- Unlimited email support

You will get:

- 1 x 15-minute feedback call per session, so that you can stay involved in the process

Step 3: Ongoing support and accountability

Following the 6-week programme, you can purchase ongoing weekly support for your teen.

Your investment: £75 per month (cancel anytime)

You and your teen will get:

- 1 x 15-minute check-in call per week to be taken by either you or your teen or both. You can mix these up. It is an opportunity to address any barriers or challenges and quickly resolve them to keep up the motivation in the long-term.

Benefits for your teen:

  • A personalised start - an in-depth onboarding form for both parents and teens, so we immediately understand their challenges, strengths and goals. From day one, your teen feels seen and supported.

  • Tools to overcome barriers - whether it’s low confidence, overwhelm, or friendship issues, we’ll work through the blocks that make studying feel impossible, so they can move forward calmly and steadily.

  • A mirror to their strengths - I’ll reflect back the talents they can’t always see in themselves, so they start to believe in what they bring.

  • Structure that feels personal - gentle guidance through each step, creating a study plan that feels achievable and motivating, not overwhelming or rigid.

  • A safe, non-judgemental space - sometimes the biggest shift happens when your teen can talk to someone who isn’t Mum or Dad. I’ll listen without pressure, so they can open up and start owning their journey.

  • Encouragement and challenge in balance -

I’ll give them the support they need when things feel tough, and a nudge to stretch when they’re ready, so they grow steadily without burning out.

  • Accountability that builds confidence - regular check-ins to keep them on track and help them feel the satisfaction of real progress.

  • Visible results that last - not just improved grades, but a clear goal, a tailored plan, and the motivation to keep moving toward a future they've chosen.

After missing a year of studies, I struggled to catch up, but Charlotte’s guidance helped me rebuild my confidence and greatly improve my skills. Her coaching sessions were patient, engaging, and tailored to my needs, and her feedback was always clear, constructive, and encouraging. Thanks to her support, I not only excelled in my English studies but also achieved the results I needed to get into the university program I wanted.

Charlotte was recommended to us with 6 weeks to go till our daughter had to sit her GCSE exams. She was lacking confidence and feeling stressed, scared and nervous about her exams. With time not on our side, Charlotte focused in on building her confidence and belief that she had what it takes to face her exams - a gifted coach knows to unlock the belief and potential within. She motivated my daughter each week with a process that helped her to streamline her examination preparation in an achievable way, all while building her self-esteem too. We're really grateful for Charlotte's care towards our daughter at a sensitive time and we're proud to say that she achieved her highest grade in the subject. Thank you Charlotte for building our daughter back up - she has started her A-levels with a motivation and confidence that we have not seen in her for ages.

It is a pleasure to recommend Charlotte. She has worked with both of our daughters over the past four years, first preparing them for their GCSEs and later guiding them through their A-levels. During this time, she supported them masterfully in their studies and beyond. Thanks to Charlotte’s expertise and mentorship, both of our daughters are now enrolled in their dream programs at their top-choice universities. We are deeply grateful for her dedication and wholeheartedly recommend her to any family seeking an exceptional tutor and mentor.

My son had some sessions with Charlotte in Year 10 to help with planning his GCSE study. He has just finished his GCSEs and I honestly believe that the support from Charlotte early on, helped it be as low stress as possible. He hadn't wanted advice or tips from me and whilst he was hesitant that Charlotte would be able to tell him anything new (typical teenage response), he really enjoyed the sessions and applied everything they discussed. It really helped our relationship as I could just support what they had agreed and saw how it made him happier/less grumpy! Charlotte very quickly built a rapport with him and was able to adapt to his particular learning style. She provided tailored suggestions for different revision resources and helped him build a study plan. It gave him the confidence that he could prepare for his GCSEs across Year 10 and 11 - it didn't need to be studying for hours and hours a day either! Whilst we don't have his results yet, I know that the sessions with Charlotte helped him prepare in the best way. But most importantly, he felt confident; prepared and able to go into his exams calmer! I wholeheartedly recommend a session with Charlottte - it might just change everything for you/your teen (at home and school). Thank you Charlotte.

The webinar has given me an insight into what I can do to help and support Grace to prepare going into year 10 and useful ways for her to revise when it comes to her GCSE’s. Your outlook on this has helped me view this in a better light and not put too much pressure on her. I loved the prep in advance advice for 15mins of revision time and the idea of a revision holiday too! It’s great to have people like you who understand - offering valuable advice and good techniques to help us support our teens

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this actually work for my teen, especially if they’re unmotivated, anxious, or unwilling to engage right now?

The honest answer is no. This coaching programme isn’t the right fit if your teen is completely unwilling to engage.

Even if they’re anxious, uncertain, or overwhelmed (all perfectly normal), they do need to be open to taking small steps forward with your support. Coaching isn’t about forcing, pushing, or persuading a reluctant teen - it’s about empowering ambitious introverts who want something better for themselves, even if they can’t see exactly how yet.

If you’re unsure whether this is the right time, I warmly invite you to book a free 30-minute insight call with me. We’ll talk through your teen’s situation, and I’ll give you honest, tailored advice, even if that means recommending a different path for now.

Ultimately, for this to work, your teen needs at least a spark of willingness - a sense that they want their future to look different. That tiny spark is all we need to begin.

Wouldn't it be better to just get a tutor to teach the content?

Tutors can be a valuable support but content alone isn’t the whole story.

Coaching gives your teen something even more powerful: the skills and confidence to take ownership of their learning. Instead of depending on someone else to explain everything, your teen will learn how to study smarter, manage their energy, stay organised, and build self-belief. These are skills that last far beyond GCSEs - they’re the foundation for success at A-level, university, and in the workplace.

Of course, if your teen needs specific help in one subject, a tutor can be a great complement to coaching. But without clear goals, effective habits, and belief in their own abilities, even the best tutors can only do so much. I learnt this first-hand from years of tutoring and it’s why I moved into coaching.

What’s the difference between coaching and counselling?

If your teen is finding school, college, or exams overwhelming, they may be feeling sad, anxious, or stuck. Coaching offers them a safe, supportive space to explore who they are, what they want, and how to get there. Through listening, encouragement, and the right questions, I help them look forward with confidence, uncover their strengths, and build practical strategies to reach their goals.

Counselling, on the other hand, is designed to support mental health challenges - such as anxiety, depression, or trauma - and focuses more on healing and processing difficult feelings. If I ever feel your teen would benefit from this kind of professional support before they’re ready to take charge of their future, I’ll be honest with you and guide you to the right help. Coaching will always be here when they’re ready to move forward.

Is this better value than tuition?

Let’s look at it over the course of a year.

Traditional tuition:

A highly skilled English or Maths tutor costs at least £45 per week, per subject.

Over a school year (38 weeks), that’s £1710 for one subject or £3420 for two subjects - and that’s just for content delivery.

Quietly Brilliant Coaching:

This is designed as a short-term intervention which will enable your teen to take control of setting their own goals and working towards them in a way that works for them - not just at GCSE, but into A-levels, university and beyond.

£900 for the first 6 sessions.

Ongoing weekly support for just £75 per month to keep your teen on track across all subjects.

Will I be involved as a parent, or is it just for my teen?

You’ll absolutely be involved but always in a way that supports your teen’s independence rather than undermines it.

This programme is designed to be teen-led. I create a safe space where your teen can reflect openly without pressure but your role is still vital.

You’ll be included throughout in ways that strengthen the process:

A parent onboarding call and form at the start so you can share insights, ask questions, and feel confident about the journey ahead.

A 15-minute catch up call after each coaching session, so you know what your teen is working on, how they’re progressing and how you can support.

Respect for confidentiality - deeper work on anxieties, blocks, or past experiences stays private, unless your teen agrees to share or there’s a safeguarding concern.

This balance means your teen builds trust, autonomy, and confidence while you stay informed and empowered to support them at home. Together, you’ll both see them step into the driving seat of their future.

What if I’m struggling to let go or facing conflict at home?

That’s incredibly common and you’re not alone. This stage of parenting can be emotionally intense, especially if your teen is pulling away, shutting down, or making choices that are hard to understand.

That’s why support for you is included too. During the 90 days of the coaching programme, you’ll have unlimited email access to me, so you’re never left wondering what to do next.

And if you need more, I also offer individual parent coaching sessions (£150 per hour). These are designed to help you:

Understand what’s in your influence (and what’s not)

Set healthy boundaries without pushing your teen away

Reduce conflict and strengthen communication

Let go in a way that feels respectful and steady, not like you’re abandoning them.

Because just like your teen, you deserve support too.

Coaching can give you the tools to step back with confidence, so your teen can take the driving seat and you can feel calm and connected along the way.
